Tea Party Flyer
Here is the party flyer I created in InDesign.
This assignment is actually a recreation of the first project we ever did in class, which is shown below. After learning how to use the program InDesign, along with the rules of design, I made this flyer for a hypothetical tea party that would take place near the end of spring quarter at Western Washignton University on the Old Main lawn.
The original flyer was an in-class assignment on the first day of class. When making this, the only design program I knew how to use was Microsoft Word. I didn't know any of the rules of design and believed that centering everything was always the best option when organizing text and images.
Putting both flyers next to one another shows me how much I've grown as a designer. I am very proud of my recreated flyer and am pleased with the skills I gained.
